The purpose of this website is to provide an online resource guide to transition services for students and families with special needs in the Jackson, MI area.
Transition relates to a change from one condition to the next. There are many transitions for students with special needs, for instance moving from one grade level to the next or from one program to another. The biggest transition for youth with special needs is the move from K-12 schooling into adult life.
